ေခ်ာင္းကေလး (The Brook)

I come from haunts of coot and heron,
I make a sudden sally
And sparkle out among the fern,

ေရၾကက္နဲ႔ဗ်ဳိင္းတို႔ က်က္စားရာမ်ားမွ ကၽြန္ေတာ္စထြက္၊
ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ရုတ္တရက္ထြက္ေပၚျခင္းတစ္ခု ျပဳလို႔။
ၿပီးေတာ့ ဖန္းေရညွိပင္ၾကားမွာ တဖ်ပ္ဖ်ပ္လက္၊
ေတာင္ၾကားတစ္ခုမွ အတင္းကေလးေျပးဆင္းဘို႔။

ကၽြန္ေတာ္ျမန္ျမန္ဆင္းလာတာက ေတာင္ကုန္းသံုးဆယ္ေဘး၊
သို႔မဟုတ္ ေလွ်ာတိုက္လာတာက ကုန္းတန္းမ်ားႏွစ္ခုၾကား။
ၿမိဳ႕ငယ္က တစ္ၿမိဳ႕နဲ႔ ရြာေတြက ႏွစ္ဆယ္ေဘး၊
ၿပီးေတာ့ တစ္ရာရဲ႕တစ္၀က္ေသာ တံတားေတြေအာက္နား။

ေနာက္ဆံုးေတာ့ ဖီးလစ္တို႔ျခံနားတိုင္ ကၽြန္ေတာ္စီးလွ်က္၊
ကမ္းနဖူးထိေရျပည့္ေနတဲ့ ျမစ္ႀကီးနဲ႔ေပါင္းဖို႔။
လူေတြလာႏိုင္ေရးနဲ႔ လူေတြသြားႏိုင္ေရးအတြက္
သို႔ေသာ္ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ကေတာ့ အျမဲခရီးဆက္လို႔။

ေက်ာက္ခဲထူတဲ့လမ္းမ်ားေပၚမွာ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တတြတ္တြတ္ဟဲ၊
အသံျမင့္မ်ားနဲ႔ အျမင့္ဆံုးအသံမ်ား ေသးေသးဖြဲ႕။
ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ပလံုစီမွာက ၀ဲလွည့္ေနတဲ့ပင္လယ္ေအာ္မ်ားထဲ၊
ေက်ာက္စရစ္ခဲမ်ားေပၚမွာလည္း ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ဗလံုးဗေထြးနဲ႔။

ေကြ႕ေကာက္မ်ားႏွင့္အတူ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ကမ္းပါးမ်ား ကၽြန္ေတာ္ဖဲ့ေျခြ
စိုက္ခင္းႏွင့္ ေျမလြတ္ေတြမ်ားစြာအနား။
ၿပီးေတာ့ လွပတဲ့အငူမ်ားစြာကို ျဖစ္ေပၚေစ၊
အတူတကြေသာ မိုးမခေပါင္းပင္နဲ႔ ပန္းဖရံုျမက္ခင္းမ်ား။

ကၽြန္ေတာ္စီးေနစဥ္မွာ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ တတြတ္တြတ္ဟဲလွ်က္
ကမ္းနဖူးထိေရျပည့္ေနတဲ့ ျမစ္ႀကီးနဲ႔ေပါင္းဘို႔။
လူေတြလာႏိုင္ေရးနဲ႔ လူေတြသြားႏိုင္ေရးအတြက္
သို႔ေသာ္ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ကေတာ့ အျမဲခရီးဆက္လို႔။
